“Jazz Group of the Year” nominee, The Lao Tizer Band, make their debut at Marin County’s premier live music venue, Sweetwater Music Hall, on Thursday, July 20, in support of their Billboard Jazz Top 10 CD/DVD combo-pack release, Songs From The Swinghouse! Led by keyboardist, composer and former “Best New Jazz Artist” nominee, Lao Tizer (Special EFX, Down To The Bone), the group features American Idol star Elliott Yamin, Rolling Stone 2022 “Bassist of the Year” nominee Anthony Crawford (Erykah Badu, Alan Holdsworth) & sax wunderkind Danny Janklow (MONKestra, Shelea).  The group has long Bay Area performance history and looks forward to bringing their electrifying crossover Jazz/Funk/R&B sound to Mill Valley in July.
