Out from the depths of a creative primordial stew, emerges a co-operative musical ensemble comprised of Bay Area stalwarts and legends.
4 musicians from very different paths, come together to play a wide range of fun and semi-improvisational music. Bryan Kehoe (guitar, vocals, MC) built his chops in the local Kook/Rock band M.I.R.V. Later venturing off to join high school pal Les Claypool in The Frog Brigade and Duo de Twang. Bobby Vega (bass) is a “Master” musician who’s first professional gigs, when he was but a teen, was with Bo Diddley and Sly Stone! His resume is a who’s who of A list artists including Billy Preston, Booker T., and Bob Weir just to name a few. Tim “Herb” Alexander (drums) has been touring the world and recording with his Platinum Award winning band Primus. Rounding out the line up is James Deprato (guitar) 1st call, studio pro currently a member of Chuck Prophet & The Mission Express.
Together they play a genre bending style of music, inspired by a wide spectrum of musical influences. Mixing hard fat funky beats, spacey interludes, and classic rock idioms, to form their own brand of music they call Quantum Blues/ Cosmic Groove.
